Peace in My Heart

Lately, I've been feeling the need to find that place again, that peace in my heart. I think I'll go for a walk in the woods tomorrow, after baking french bread and making banana creme pies for Thanksgiving dinner.

oh, i love that painting. i posted it on my blog a long time ago (i can't even remember when), but the image has always stayed with me, like it's made a little nest somewhere in the very far reaches of my heart. i'm glad you posted it because i just remembered how comforting this painting is.
